We've recently had an explosion in submissions, so I took the opportunity to organize the group a bit more. Here are the changes:
And as always...If you have any friends that use ASEprite and haven't joined the group, please encourage them to join! We're always looking for new members to feature this great art program.
We've recently had an explosion in submissions, so I took the opportunity to organize the group a bit more. Here are the changes:
- New Gallery Folders: Pixel Art, Sprites, Animated Sprites, Scenes, Animated Scenes, Tiles, Oekaki, Other
- Removed Gallery folders: WIPs, Member Artwork. All artwork has been moved to the new folders.
- Folder descriptions: Please read before submitting!
- Member submission limitations: 3 deviations per folder per day.

Oh, I have a few older emoticons I've made, but I had them on an older dA account and forgot to migrate them. I think I thought that "contributor" meant one who was contributing art to the group's gallery.
Salutations. Ah, I would like to ask a question, if I may. I notice that many of the animations in your gallery are indeed animated sprite sheets. While I am capable of exporting sprite sheets in the Aseprite program, I don't seem to be able to find any way of turning them into gifs, or anything the like. The goal is to be able to upload a sprite sheet that plays itself into DeviantArt.

If you're working with animations, exporting .GIFs is as simple as saving your work as a .GIF! Just make sure you quantize your image from the Palette Editor and change the Color Mode to indexed first.

why is it that if i keep aseprite minimized for too long, aseprite freezes and becomes unresponsive? also how do you change the layer opacity?
